When it comes to planning weddings, i’d have to say fall is one of my favorite seasons to plan in. I honestly love everything fall from the leaves, to the crisp morning air and even the smores and hot chocolate bars at weddings :)
Fall wedding colors:
According to the Knot, fall wedding colors of 208 are Jewel-toned color palettes, wild-looking bouquets and the new naked cake are in style.
Fall Wedding Cakes
Sorry folks but it looks like we're still going strong with the naked cakes this fall but there is good news, they now have icing! This year instead of fondant most couples are opting for a thin layer of icing, a drizzle of caramel or ganache, and greenery.
Fall Stationery Wedding Trends:
Couples are also ditching the big stationery pieces of paper and getting into things such as chalkboards for menus, mirrors with calligraphy for seating charts, and decorative escort card signage.
Fall Wedding Floral Trends:
When it comes to bridal bouquets, brides are looking for more wild-looking floral matched with wild colored dahlias. For tabletops their going with succulents or beautiful table garlands with lots of greenery.
Fall Wedding Food Trends:
When it comes to this trend creative food and drink stations are the way to go!
Fall Wedding Gowns
Lastly but certaintly not least is the wedding gown! Seriously you guys...isn't this bride gorgeous? More and more brides are moving away from the more traditional bridal gown and gearing towards a more chic look. Many brides opt for long sleeves for their wedding day in the fall. However, I love a good two-piece bridal down as well!
